The past two weeks have not been any fun at all. D8

On Feb 20th (my birthday, of course) my car died on the interstate. I had to wait for a tow truck for a half an hour (as I was stuck on an exit, cars were whooshing by and anyone that wanted to get off had to go AROUND me), then the tow truck had to go help someone else WHILE he had my car. We got to drop off my car and help that guy (and I got to help with the truck, that was like, the only awesome part XD), but since I agreed to come along he didn't charge me for the rest of the miles AAA didn't cover. The next day the repair shop told me I need a new engine. GREAT. So yeah. I was originally going to salvage it, but decided against that, I've already put a bunch of money into this car, I know the rest of it is good, might as well fix it. I've got an engine being shipped in, at 130,000 miles it has about 40,000 less than my car has now, running me $700, plus labor is going to be around $900. Hellooooo first credit card.

And... um, it's snowing, has been all day. I hope they cancel classes tomorrow, more for the commuter's sake than mine. The roads are gonna SUCK. Kinda makes me glad I don't have a car to brush off.
